How to Reassemble Motorola Moto G for Parts Repair

Note: The type of flex cable connector is plug in, so it needs careful handling when you insert the flex to make the connecting.

    I have exactly the same problem as Laura : backlight, but no display (phone viber, boots, make sounds, etc … ) ;
    I tried with my old broken screen and same thing !!!
    I did a bunch of dissasemble and reassemble, and display worked just one time with old screen, and I disassemble again because want it working this new screen ….
    any ideas ???

    I reassembled and the phone is working fine, but the screen isn’t. There’s backlight but not image and no touch. Could it be that I didn’t reattach the flexcable properly? or is the LCD/glass I bought faulty? I can’t find anything else to fix.
