Sprint Announced HTC 8XT and Samsung ATIV S Neo as Its First Windows Phone 8 Devices

US handset operator Sprint released two new windows phones to help kick off the summer season. The two smartphones HTC 8XT and Samsung ATIV S are sprint’s first windows 8 devices. In addition, the device has 8GB internal storage and 1GB of RAM with dual front-facing speakers, which makes it the first Windows Phone 8 smartphone to come with HTC’s BoomSound technology. The 4.3 inches screen drops from HD to 800 x 480, and there’s an 8-megapixel camera on the rear. Samsung haven’t really been an active Windows Phone manufacturer, but have now certainly provided some nice offerings with the Windows Phone smartphones modeled after its popular Android models. The ATIV S Neo will land in the market with a 1.4GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, microSD card slot, 4.8 inches screen, 8 megapixel rear camera, and 1.9 megapixel front-facing camera. The ATIV S Neo will also consist of some other Samsung utilities, such as ATIV Beam, Now, Beauty Shot, Manga Camera and Photo Editor as well. Both HTC 8XT and Samsung ATIV S Neo are also LTE-enabled and will be able to use Sprint’s network with no metering, throttling or overages.
