iPhone 5S Production to Start This Quarter

Apple will begin production of its iPhone 5S sometime during this quarter, according to the latest news. The Wall Street Journal’s unnamed sources claimed that the next-gen iPhone will be similar in size and appearance to the iPhone 5, suggesting the refreshed model will indeed be the much rumored “iPhone 5S” many are expecting to announce this year. The most reliable news to date suggests Apple’s new iPhone 5S will release in July or August alongside a second entry-level model that will help expand Apple’s market share in current markets. The Journal also said that the cheaper iPhone in its report, reporting that “the 4-inch device will likely use a different casing from the higher-end iPhone.” The report also claimed Apple may be testing “different color shells” for its new cheaper iPhone, but didn’t reveal that the smartphone phone will actually release with new color options.
