    Hi,

I got my display assembly with the housing replaced by an external mobile shop. They do not take guarantee for the repair. After the repair, the mobile phone network range has been badly affected. Every time I enter a building, my phone loses network. It takes around 5 minutes for the network bars to appear and normally it is 2 bars lesser than it used to be before the display and housing change. Is there something I can do to improve the network?
    Thank you

It is a nice guide. GZ, and i have a question.
Can you take the display off one lumia 930 where the glass is broken and transfer it to another where the screen isnt working and the glass is whole? Is that possible?

    Best Regards

Thanks for the guide, successfully replaced my screen. However, there are a few issues: my phone won’t recognise any sim. Any suggestions to why this might be? I already tried resetting. Also, the vibrate function is weird, instead of short vibrations, it keeps on vibrating for a second or two.

Thanks for an excellent guide. I had my glass broken. First tried to change only the glass but failed. (as it is a mission impossible). Then bought the whole display unit and was able to change it taking note of your detailed pictures.

Thanks for sharing this. Is it possible to pull out the microphones and replace them from another 930? Do I need to replace the whole motherboard?

My 930 has developed the dreaded “2nd microphone” problem- the phone no longer picks up sound during Skype video chat; when using speakerphone the other party can’t hear me; Cortana can’t hear any music when asked to identify a song; videos recorded with FFC have no audio; videos recorded with rear camera are in mono.

Alternatively, could I get another 930 that has a broken screen (but otherwise works) and just transfer the screen from my own 930? Might that be a better route?

And if you just need to replace a broken screen do we need to remove all these parts?
