ETS Advantages
The Blackberry Torch 9800 Digitizer Touch Screen has the adhesive on the back of the screen. There are two kinds of Torch 9800 digitizers in the market: OEM Brand New with new adhesive and aftermarket with new adhesive. Currently the OEM brand new digitizer often become out of stock, and but for many digitizers, the adhesive is not OEM.
Generally ETrade Supply only supplies the OEM A stock 9800 touch screens that will undergo strict cosmetic inspection and functionality test. The B stock 9800 touch panel is also available sometimes due to the unstable inventory of the OEM new stock. The B stock digitizer may have very tiny dark points which cannot be spotted if not inspected carefully. It has no influence on the functionality of digitizer. Apart from this part, ETrade Supply also supplies other Blackberry Torch 9800 replacement parts.
Purchasing & Installation Notes:
Installation Notes: When installing the Blackberry 9800 digitizer, the first step should be threading the flex ribbon through the hole on the front housing. During this process, you should thread the flex ribbon horizontally through the hole because the big IC is quite thick. Any improper handling angle or too much strength applied may cause damage to the component. The flex ribbon connector is also very fragile. When connecting the connector to the port on the LCD screen, it is also important to handle gently. The corners and the edges of the BlackBerry 9800 Digitizers are also very vulnerable.
