Finding a hTc model number when you can't turn on the phone
By Brack Carter| April 14th, 2016| +1 0Share this guide with your friend!I found a hTc phone that I couldn't turn on, or charge. In order to repair the phone for use, I would like to know where to look on the the phone in order to find the imei number, or the model . I took the battery cover off, but I didn't see a sticker, or anything else that would identify the phone. Can someone offer some advice regarding this issue?

What's the phone model of your HTC ? Usually the IMEI number or S/N (Serial Number) can be found in the battery compartment, If your cell phone doesn’t have a removable battery, then the IMEI number may be located in another place such as the SIM card tray. Or there is another way:log in to Google Dashboard through a PC or Tablet using the Google account linked to the Android phone , Click Android, next to the green robot logo, this will reveal a list of devices registered to the account, along with their IMEI numbers.
