Since my original screen broke on my Oneplus One, I have been unable to find a good replacement screen that lasts. I found this one mentioned in the Oneplus forums and thought it might do the trick after a few other less expensive replacement screens cracked under normal usage. I now have a different phone, but my wife wanted to use the Oneplus One. She has never cracked a screen before on any phone. However, she cracked this one the next day after it was installed. Not only did it crack, it completely shattered worse than any other screen that was installed. Most of the other screens cracked up around the top speaker grill. This screen is definitely not made from the same material as the original based on how it shattered like regular glass and how easily it did so. With the price of this screen with shipping, you are far better off buying a used phone on eBay and placing your motherboard into it. That is what I have been forced to do after being ripped off by 4 different instances of buying junk screens that each last less than a month. Again, this one did not make it a full day. I will also add that I am a former electronics technician that now works in IT. I have the appropriate skills and experience to complete this type of work on phones. It is amazing how strong these new glass compounds are. Unfortunately, I don't believe that this screen uses a glass that is rated for the job.
Reviewed by Alejand** More**RatingI'm not sure of the quality of the product, I'm planing on buying again since my screen did broke by just having my phone in my pocket, during all these years with the phone it never broke like this, i had to replace my screen because i dropped my phone, but this time it was totally different, just went from having my phone in perfect conditions with the replaced part, to having the top of the screen around the speaker all shattered.
Hope it was just an isolated situation,
regards
