it was said to be for my exact model of phone but yet it had slight differences from my original and that caused many issues. it doesnt fit properly and isnt flush with the rest of my phone. i am honestly very displeased with it. it caused a lot of issues like now my camera does not work at all, everything is connected but since i got this part my camera and flash light do not work. and when it comes to the differences from the original lets just say i had an extra screw from the original that this one had no spot for.

Reviewed by Stev**RatingThe speaker, front camera, vibrator, and antenna are not included. The camera is easy to replace but other components, notable the antenna, are difficult, especially if you intend to swap them over from your old unit. I need a second digitizer and am looking for other solutions instead of doing the digitizer again. It would be great is eTrade allowed you to order the digitizer with an option for pre-installation of the speaker, and / or front camera, and / or vibrator, and / or antenna.

(Posted on 05/02/16)Front glass and LCD on wife's phone cracked. Purchased Samsung Galaxy S III SPH-L710 LCD Screen and Digitizer thru ETrade Supply.
Removal of motherboard and small auxiliary assemblies was not too bad. The hardest part was removal of the left-hand dual switch assembly. Best to push the switches actuator out until it sticks in its hole through the frame. The switches assembly can then be carefully removed. The switches assembly has adhesive on the back of it and needs to be carefully pried away from the frame.
The unit from ETrade was an exact replacement for the original assembly. Only the original model and serial number label in the battery compartment had to be transferred. A trivial task, however, warming the label makes it much easier to remove, but don't over do it with the heat.
Replacing the motherboard and auxiliary assemblies was fairly easy. Again, the left-hand side switches assembly was the hardest. Be sure to have the actuator pushed out a little. Just enough so it stays out, but can be pushed back in again. Connect all the flex cables to their sockets. Carefully line up the connector with the socket, then apply gentle pressure. You should be able to feel the connector and socket mate. Be sure to replace the one motherboard screw and one broad flat-head screw for one of the auxiliary assemblies before replacing the motherboard plastic cover. Replace the top end plastic cover assembly first. Then, replace the motherboard cover. The battery can next be installed, then the back phone cover snapped in place.
When the phone was turned on, it came up normally. All functions, i.e., send/receive calls, camera, wifi, etc. were checked and found functioning properly. All-in-all, the phone was brand new again.
Two main points of advice, (1) use a small Philips head screw driver that fits the screws, and (2) go slow, don't rush, or apply too much force.
Getting up in years (>60) has made working with miniaturized circuitry a challenge. How I long for the days of vacuum tubes and thru-hole.
