Samsung CEO, Kwon Oh Hyun confirmed that by 2015 the company will have newest mobile devices - including the foldable devices, such as folding displays’ phones. He also said that Samsung has been putting a lot of effort into new form factors which consist of wearable devices (Galaxy Gear), curved phones Samsung Galaxy Round and even foldable phones. However, Samsung's top executive did not tell people about the detail time for the devices with folding displays but obviously suggested that Samsung is indeed preparing for the devices. Samsung’s first curved display smartphone Galaxy Round, a variant of the Galaxy Note 3, which was released not long ago. The Galaxy round features a 5.7-inch display which has a horizontal curve and feels lighter than the Galaxy Note 3, Samsung claimed the phone is easily to be griped while compares to other flat-screen smartphones. Unfortunately, Samsung had claimed that the Galaxy Round would initially be available only in South Korea, with no detail information on announcing it in other countries. According to Samsung’s timeline below, we can find bendable displays in 2014, which will lead to foldable displays in 2015.
