Retina iPad mini 2 Could be Available in Gold with Touch ID Fingerprint Scanner

Apple’s next iPad mini tablet is expected to be launched next month and according to a batch of leaked pictures, the device is likely to be made available in the same gold and white color combination as the flagship iPhone 5s. On Friday, the Chinese website ZOL posted two pictures which claimed the new Retina iPad mini will come in gold.

Many reports previously hinted Apple’s nex-gen iPad and new iPad mini 2 would not consist of Touch ID and these pictures could be false, but it is no doubt that Apple has plans to bring the new feature to its tablet lineup. The Retina iPad mini 2 is expected to be released alongside a new fully redesigned iPad 5 early next month. We have also seen the tablet pictured in Apple’s new space gray color, so it seems the next iPad mini could feature more updates than previous devices.
