iPad Mini 2 With Retina Display Reportedly Delayed Until Next Year

People previously have heard lots of speculations that Apple won’t announce the nex-gen iPad mini with a Retina display until 2014. The latest report from Taiwan’s Economic Daily News, claimed that the display panel shortages as is the reason for the delay. The information also hinted that Apple will announce both Retina and non-Retina versions of the iPad mini 2. However, they didn’t mention when the new devices land in the market. However, those things seem to have changed in recent days. Last month, NPD Display Search noticed that a non-Retina display version follow up iPad mini would be announced this fall. This would be followed in early 2014 by the release of a Retina display model. Earlier DigiTimes reported that the iPad mini 2 would be delayed.Thesecond-generation iPad mini is hoped to come with Retina display, a 2048 x 1536-pixel resolution, a dual-core A6X processor and an 8-megapixel rear camera.
