BlackBerry To Release 3 Or 4 New BlackBerry 10 Models Later This Year

Blackberry 10, Blackberry’s new line which it hopes will help them make a comeback isn’t going to take them to the top, but will at least keep the company steady in race. Recently their new models have sold an estimated 5 million units, not a huge amount but enough to keep their shares level. Another good step for Blackberry is that a Societe Generale analyst Andy Perkins raised Blackberry from a sell to a buy.
The Blackberry 10 devices however are still too costly for many markets. This is why they are planning to release mid-range phones, notably the Blackberry Q5 which will use the BB10 OS for low end markets in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. It will feature a dual-core processor, a 3.1-inch touch screen and full QWERTY keyboard. The release of these mid-range models should quickly double Blackberry sales. Blackberry is really stepping on the gas this year, they also recently announced they will be releasing a total of 3 to 4 new Blackberry 10 models in the second half of 2013.
