Apple iPhone 7 Concept: Features More Smart Sensors

Not long after Apple released the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, an engineer had released some renderings of a new generation of iPhone. Let’s sneak a peek.

The iPhone 7 Concept features many new sensors. First, look at the thin lines both at the top and bottom of the device. They are not only designed to be aesthetically pleasing, but are built with sensors inside which will be able to distinguish whether the iPhone is in a pocket or not. If it is, the screen will stay locked. In addition, when the phone is held up closer to your face, the screen will automatically turn on.

Apart from the “face detecting” sensors, iPhone 7 Concept also features finger sensors to substitute side buttons. Like the “face detecting” sensors, the finger detecting sensors will also lock when the device is in the pocket. However, I’m wondering will the finger detecting sensors be annoying if the sensors automatically switch the volume when detecting fingers nearby, although you don’t mean to activate them at all.

As for the size, the iPhone 7 Concept will be 5.2 inches, which is between the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus. As for color, this device will be designed like the iPhones before it, with black and white, instead of the current popular space gray and silver.

Aside from this smart sensor iPhone 7 Concept, some predicte that the next gen iPhone will sport a curved screen joining the trend that some brands are following. Obviously Apple will design the iPhone how the see best, however, maybe they will get some inspiration from the rumors. The rumors will never stop until the iPhone 7 actually comes out, so just stay tuned.
