(Posted on 12/20/15)I dropped my BlackBerry Passport, and shattered the screen, so I needed to buy a replacement. Someone recommended etradesupply, so I found what I needed and ordered. I ordered it on a Sunday evening, and it arrived by Friday. Packaging was great, and I began the install. That's where I ran into a LITTLE bit of a tough time...
I didn't realize that you can buy the screen (this item), or the screen PLUS frame (out of stock on this site). If you're going to replace your screen, I highly recommend buying the screen plus frame option. The LCD screen doesn't come with an adhesive backing on it, so when I removed my broken screen from my frame, it pulled off all of the original adhesive, and there was nothing to bond my new screen to my original frame.
If you buy this item, make sure you have some double sided adhesive tape, or you'll be in trouble. I wound up running out to a cell phone repair kiosk at a mall, and paying the guy to apply some tape for me. Once he did that, I attached the screen, put the phone back together, and am back up and running :)
