The Samsung Finesse R810 Digitizer Touch Panel sold on our site is a unit incorporating the digitizer and the glass lens. The two parts are adhered together by a special technology. It is very difficult to separate them manually. So it is advisable to replace the unit instead of the digitizer or the glass lens even if only one part is damaged.

The Samsung Finesse R810 Digitizer Touch Panel features a “metroPCS” logo on the top and a “Samsung” logo at the bottom. This is the same with the Samsung A877 digitizer touch screen. Note that the R810 digitizer flex cable ribbon straightly stretches out from the top edge of the touch screen.

Purchasing & Installation Notes

The Samsung R810 digitizer touch panel is available in three versions. One comes with the “metroPCS” logo. The other two have no such logo. Note that one of the two versions without the logois a little larger than the version with the logo. Thus they are not compatible.

The Samsung R810 digitizer flex cable ribbon is not as special as the Samsung Impression SGH-A877 Digitizer flex cable ribbon. Still, one should not ignore protecting the ribbon during installation.
