The Samsung Eternity 2 SGH-A597 digitizer is a common four-wire resistive touch screen. As the touch screen is co-manufactured by the Samsung Company and the AT&T Company, it comes with both the “Samsung” logo that is at the bottom of the screen and the “AT&T” logo that is on the top of digitizer.

The Samsung A597 touch screen is designed with a tiny radian at the bottom side. It is used to fit the Navigation Button. There is a hole above the AT&T logo that is made for the front speaker shield.

It can be knocked by about 1 million times, and brushed by the stylus about 100 thousand times. The A597 digitizer flex cable ribbon is quite slim and narrow. Don’t apply too much strength on the flex cable ribbon to prevent from damaging it.
