The Blackberry playbook Digitizer Touch Screen features a golden flex ribbon. At the end of the ribbon there is a clip that is to be connected with the motherboard and a large Integrated Circuit (IC). There are two holes on the playbook touch panel: the proximity sensor hole and the front facing camera hole. Please note that adhesive is not included and if you need it, you should add it to your order (MAKE TEXT INTO LINK TO ADHESIVE).

Purchasing & Installation Notes 

Purchasing Notes: Before the Blackberry playbook digitizer touch screen is connected with the motherboard, the digitizer flex ribbon must be threaded through the hole on the frame. Because the ribbon has both the IC and clip, please handle them as carefully as possible to avoid any damage. It is also highly recommended to wear finger cots or latex gloves during installation. If there is any dust on the surface of the playbook digitizer, please use a soft cloth and a little alcohol to gently wipe off the dust.

Installation Notes: The Blackberry playbook digitizer touch screen should be wrapped with bubble wrap and placed on-edge with the flex ribbon pointing upward during storage. Also, please use a rigid box as external packing material. Make sure that when placing the playbook touch screen in the rigid box that there is enough space inside so as to prevent the flex cable ribbon from being pinched.
