The Motorola Droid A855, milestone A853 LCD screen with LCD flex cable ribbon is manufactured with the LED technology. Such LCD has longer lifespan and is more environment-friendly than normal LCD screen.

The Motorola Droid A855, milestone A853 LCD screen with LCD flex cable ribbon features a long triangle ribbon on the back. It can be directly installed to the handset. The ribbon has three ends. Two ends are connected to the short ribbon and the bottom of the milestone LCD screen and the other end should be fastened to the motherboard during installation. Please note that the triangle ribbon is bonding to Motorola Droid LCD screen by a special machining instead of the normal adhesive. Once disconnected form the screen or damaged, the ribbon can not be adhered to the LCD manually.

At the bottom of the milestone A853 LCD screen with LCD flex cable, there is a white strip that is a part of the LCD flex cable ribbon. Two LED lights are incorporated on the strip. Don’t pull the strip during installation in order to prevent damaging the LED lights.

Purchasing & Installation Notes

When installing the milestone LCD screen with LCD flex cable, please pay special attention to the protection of the long triangle ribbon.

The four holes on the milestone LCD screen must be aligned with the motherboard during the installation. If improperly handled, the screen may be cracked.
