A report of VentureBeat on Wednesday claimed that the new iPhone will feature NFC, wireless charging, better screen and powerful chipset. A lot of emerging evidences proved that Apple will release two new iPhones this fall, and one is with a 4.7-inch display, the other with a 5.5-inch display. However, as we have heard the news that the screen of iPhone 6 would be made of ultra-durable sapphire glass, in fact, YouTube user Marques Brownlee tested the iPhone 6 panel, but results showed that the panel was slightly harder than Gorilla Glass but not as hard as sapphire.

The source of VentureBeat confirmed the new iPhone will contain the latest A8 chip. Running at a frequency of 2.0GHz per core, the A8 chip will reduce response time and enhance graphics rendering in the upcoming phones. Compared with the A7 chips, these purported smartphones function better. As for network, insider claimed that the new phones will support Wi-Fi, 802.11ac, as we have expected. The cellular modem is the latest Qualcomm’s MDM9x35, which will support Category 6 LTE, a faster wireless technology that allows top speeds of 300 megabits per second. And most of all, the new iPhones will be able to do mobile payments. The socket reserved in the new phones carry a chip made by NXP. According to the insiders, in the new phones, the fingerprint reader has done some improvements such as less read time, security enhancement. With this improvement, it will be safer for mobile payments. We have known some features of the upcoming cellphone, but still now, Apple doesn’t release the final appearance.
