With a similar design to the Nokia Lumia 920, the EOS will be equipped with a 4.5-inch 720p display.

So there has been iPhone 5S leaks around the Internet again lately, as everybody want to know how the iPhone 5S will be like. But let’s take focus off the 5S for a moment and focus on the phone next in line, the iPhone 6.

Apple-iPhone-6-concept

A new concept Apple iPhone 6 is getting people’s attention, as it is more realistic compared to many other concepts you find around the Internet. With a unibody made up of 40% aluminum and 60% carbon, the concept Apple iPhone 6 would be lighter as well as stronger. The concept iPhone has a complete edge-to-edge 4.5-inch display with 754 x 1296 resolution. The pixel density reaches 333ppi, comparing with the 326ppi on the Apple iPhone 5.

Perhaps display changes and material may not be enough to catch your attention; however, Apple might end up focusing more on the “Home button” this time. From what you can see, the concept iPhone 6 won’t have any “home button” as before, but it will be built into the bottom panel which will come with a multi-touch gesture support like on the magic mouse or Mac books.

Apple-iPhone-6-concept-1

As we all know, most time, we use our cellphone to call, send messages, take pictures, surf the Internet and so on. But you probably never knew your handset could do the following three things, which could also very important in your daily life.

1. How to disable a stolen cellphone

Just remember your cellphone’s serial number. The way to check this number is to enter the digits: * # 0 6 # on your phone, and then a 15 digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your handset. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. If your phone gets stolen, you can then call your service provider and give them this code. They will then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally useless. You probably won’t get your phone back, but at least you know that whoever stole it can’t use/sell it either. So if everybody knew this, then the point of stealing phones would be gone. So take this tip and share it with your friends and family.

2. Emergency

Another thing you might not know is the Emergency Number worldwide for cellphones, 112. If you find yourself out of the coverage area of your handset network and there is an emergency, dial 112 and the cellphone will search any existing network to establish the emergency number for you, interestingly enough, this number 112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked.

3. Don’t worry if you locked your keys in the car

Does your car have remote keyless entry? This might actually come in handy someday. So another good reason to own a cellphone is that if you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, you can call someone at home from your cellphone and make them unlock the car door for you. How?

Hold your cellphone about a foot away from your car door and have the person with your keys press the unlock button, while holding it near the cellphone on their end. This will result in your car to unlock no matter how far away you are from your extra set of keys.

Another leak regarding the white Nexus 4 is here but only the white back cover is visible, but it seems surrounded with a black screen on the front. The White Nexus 4 appears with the same specification as the previous black Nexus 4. When it comes to the Android OS, the white Nexus 4 is most probable to feature Android 4.3, Google’s next generation OS. Planning to better demonstrate new services and APIs without upgrading the Android firmware, Google avoided the Android 4.3 announcement at the Google I/O.

With no more new leaks on the new Android 4.3, we still expect it to come with API level 18 Bluetooth Smart, while the current Android 4.2.23 is API level 17. What’s more, Nexus series smartphones, like Nexus 4, Nexus 7 or 10 should be compatible with Android 4.3. The black Nexus 4 has seen big sales numbers and has gained great popularity for its design, 4.2.2 Android version and $299. What new features or price will be pushed out by the new White Nexus 4? The leaked White Nexus 4 is White back cover with a black bezel. At least white bezel should be available to make this phone perfect. Also, LTE was rumored to support the White Nexus 4, but no mention in the new leak. Anything will be unveiled by next month when the device is released.

It is a pity that the photos suggest little about Apple’s plans for the next-generation iPhone 5S, since they are small parts and have little differences compared to their corresponding iPhone 5 parts. Nobody can be sure whether or not they are authentic as well. However some of the parts such as the iPhone 5s SIM tray have been previously leaked in low quality photos, so it seems two leaks of the same part is more reliable than one. The trays colors reveal something else about the upcoming iPhone. One of them appears to be beige or golden color, which brings up speculation that the new iPhone may be available in some new colors that weren’t available before.

The leaked parts from BGR tell us that Apple may be planning some internal upgrades to the iPhone, but obviously this is expected. Apple’s iPhone 5S is expected to be announce in July or August along with Sapphire Crystal Home Button, which features capacitive touch-sensitive button covered by scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass, instead of a touch-sensitive virtual button. So this feature and the potential new colors may be what’s up Apple’s sleeve to woo its fans in this upcoming release.

Previously we remember some Japanese scientists created a ‘Smell-O-Vision’ screen that emits a smell from your cellphone. Now a Japanese Perfume company named Chaku created a new accessory called “Chat Perf”. The device consists of an atomizer and a small tank that attaches to the bottom of an iPhone and allows you to send good smells to users in spray form.

Apparently, “Chat Perf” can give out corresponding smells according to videos and images displayed on your phone. And with the help of a special app called “Scentee”, you can send and receive fragrances with friends who also has the accessory and app. You can also trigger smells on your own device as well when you’re in need of a good scent. The inventors also claim that the accessory will be used not only with videos and images but also with games in future. And they also plan to release a version for Android phones.

The accessory can be plugged into the 30-pin port on the iPhone 4S, so it’s not available for the iPhone 5. The price of Chat Perf is $63. Maybe a bit much for an experimental technology, but this does make the Google’s April Fool’s joke “Google Nose” a bit less of a joke.

Last week, Microsoft updated the Youtube application for the Windows Phone. However, Google is not happy with Microsoft and has sent a cease and desist letter to Microsoft, demanding that Microsoft “immediately withdraw this application from the Windows Phone Store and disable existing downloads of the application by Wednesday, May 22, 2013.”

What’s going on between Google and Microsoft? It is reported that Microsoft has created the app without Google’s consent. A Microsoft spokesperson told Neowin “…google was unwilling to cooperate with Microsoft to make an app up to par with the apps for other platforms.” The app prevents ads from playing on Youtube and allows users to download videos. Although lack of advertisements is good for the user’s experience, it cuts away a valuable revenue source of both Google and the third-party content creators who paid for the ads through Google’s platform.

As a response to Google, a spokesman of Microsoft said that they are willing to display the ads on Youtube apps, but will need Google to provide the necessary APIs.

Debra Hilton, a Florida woman, claims that she is suing Apple for $5 million on behalf of thousands of customers who suffered from defective power button issues on the iPhone 4.

She used a thread in the Apple discussion forums viewed by hundreds of thousands people as evidence, when suing over the so-called “wiggly” power button. In the thread, hundreds of iPhone 4/4s users complained about the “wiggly” power button, where many of the “wiggly” power button issues happened shortly after the one-year warranty period expired, and owners would have to pay $149 for repairs.
Hilton is suing under the RICO statue; a federal racketeering law, and she is also accusing Apple of violating California’s unfair competition law.
Apple still has not commented on the case.
