Apple Watch

Apple’s first wearable device was released this morning. It’s a smartwatch with wireless charging, a square face, sapphire screen, swappable bands, a heartbeat sensor and a rotating digital crown.

Apple watch comes in two different sizes and three different collections: Watch, Wath Sport and Watch Edition. Definitely, this wearable device cannot be used as an iPhone in such a small screen. To make the most use of it, you have to use the Apple Watch in conjunction with an iPhone. What’s more, it requires a relatively recent iPhone model, starting with the iPhone 5.

As the same with other smart devices, Apple Watch is designed to connect people by getting notifications and sending quick replies. In fact, the Apple Watch can use voice input through Siri and customizable emoji to make quick replies.

Pinch to zoom, wouldn’t work on a watch. But, Apple watch takes advantage of the digital crown to zoom in. Can you imagine seeing your photo gallery in a watch? Yes, it really comes ture in Apple Watch. When you scroll the digital crown, you zoom out and all of your photos showing as minuscle thumbnails. When you use the crown to zoom in, you can see the photos easily and clearly.

Electronic products are slaved to the battery capacity. As we all know, it’s not easy to charge or replace the battery of a watch. But Apple got a solution by using the inductive charging. However, apple hasn’t indicated  the battery life of Apple watch.
